0.9.3 ECM, armor-piercing rounds, stores


New update, 0.9.3

New Features:

  • Armour-piercing ammunition for AC
  • ECM bubbles that block NARC and Stealth
  • Stores and Hiring Halls now have physical locations (proof of concept, not final)

Quality of Life fixed and adjustments:

  • You can now see the path your ship has traveled. The ship itself now shows where it is with a pop-up message.
  • Interactive objects now have better and bigger tooltips.
  • "Drop to the  mission" screen was redesigned to show both mechs and pilots
  • Space War tweaks: your favorite faction is starting to fight better. It is no longer possible to attack newly captured planets immediately. This should reduce the chances of a stalemate (but, so far, not eliminate it).
  • There are always 4 different factions in the sector now.
  • You can not start a Skirmish game without a Lance anymore.

Fixed a large number of bugs.

  • The turn/activation system has been redesigned. Now, there should be no situations when you lose a mech move or can control enemy mechs.
  • Salvage selling price can no longer be negative.
  • Skirmish battles no longer affect Career reputation
  • Reputation is now correctly shown on the planet screen
  • Mechs no loger appear in battles against infantry

Under the hood.

  • A lot of changes are made to allow narrative campaigns - we can now issue quests, assign them to random planets and complete them.
  • Implemented a random event system. Disabled for now because there are only two events :)
  • Started work on one of the test narrative campaigns with the participation and ideas of the project's Patrons.
