DeltaStrike v.8.8 (experimental) - Pilots, Hiring Halls and Career
I seem to be done with Pilots. I'd like to ask you guys to test a version this weekend. If it's okay, I'll fix minor bugs and have a “release” and post it on reddit. So, pilots.
- Pilots come in different skill levels: 6+, 5+, 4+, 3+,
- The lower the skill, the better.,
- Pilots can be hired at Hiring Halls.,
- Without a pilot in the cockpit of the mech, you will not be able to start a mission in the campaign.,
- To start a mission, you need to drag the pilot with the cursor to the mech (or any other vehicle) he will be piloting.,
- The mech/pilot tab is switched by a special button on the left.,
- The pilot sitting in the mech can modify its cost. If you take four Skill 3+ pilots and put them in mechs, get ready that your Lance will become more expensive by 10-14 points.,
- That's it for now. Pilots can't be killed and can't be fired (but they don't ask for money either).
